Cameo® Apple Spinach Salad

What you need:

+ 1/2 c. slivered almonds
+ 2 Tbsp. sugar
+ 1 pkg. (6 oz.) baby spinach leaves
+ 1 head romaine lettuce, washed and torn
+ 2 Cameo apples, cored and thinly sliced
For dressing:
+ 1/4 c. red onion, finely chopped
+ 6 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
+ 1/2 c. olive oil
+ 3 Tbsp. sugar
+ 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
+ 1/4 tsp. salt
+ 1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
What to do:
1. Place almonds in medium skillet with sugar. Cook over medium-high heat 4 min. or until coated and browned, stirring constantly; set aside.
2. Combine dressing ingredients in small bowl; stir vigorously. Pour over spinach, lettuce and apples just before serving; toss. Sprinkle with sugared almonds.
